Once you admit you love someone, you forfeit a part of you to their devices. You lay down a foundation, you place the bricks atop each other and you form something beautiful. Though most times we fail to finish... and abandon our posts, our duties, our work, and walk away to build a new one... if we ever decide to visit our old home, it will still be there. Cobwebs and all. Your old home will still be there, beaten and weathered, but never forgotten. And not only your eyes gaze upon the familiarity of the warmth, but your heart and soul as well. And you will never escape what you have felt. You will always remember the labor, the joys, the smiles and kisses and lingering summer nights...
It is impossible to escape the ties we make.
We are all bound by love.
